Emily is a 2001 Graduate of the University of Tennessee.  After spending 14 years in Marketing and Advertising she started her career with Northwestern Mutual. As an Associate Financial Advisor for 5 years Emily noticed that there needed to be a stronger female presence in the world of Financial Advisors.  Growing up in East Tennessee money had always been a ‘taboo’ topic, especially for women, so while working with her husband she saw an opportunity to open financial conversations to a broader audience. Emily is working to help women become more financially independent by offering more education and exposure to financial topics. 

Emily has now worked with Northwestern Mutual for 10 years. She is investment, insurance & Medicare Licensed in multiple states, holds her Retirement Income Certified Professional designation and is currently working towards her Chartered Life Underwriter Designation. 

Emily has been married to her life and business Partner Shaun Jenkins for 22 years and they have two boys Luke 20 and Eli 17.
